TV GORD’S WHAT’S ON FOR THE WEEK OF September 25-October 1, 2016

All times are eastern

A couple of new shows (Aftermath and Queen Sugar), many more returning shows, and a couple of notable events (Stephen Colbert’s live show after Monday’s U.S. Presidential Debate and Charles Osgood retires from CBS Sunday Morning). Happy viewing!

Sunday

CBS Sunday Morning: Celebrating Charlie – 9 to 10:30am on CBS

Charles Osgood, who has hosted this easy-going, casual news and human interest series for 22 years, is leaving the show at the age of 83. His final broadcast is a tribute to his long and varied career by the show’s correspondents. (So long, Charlie, it’s been good to know ya!)

Once Upon A Time – 8pm on ABC/CTV – 6th Season Premiere

Secrets and Lies – 9pm on ABC/CTV – 2nd Season Premiere

Quantico – 10pm on ABC – 2nd Season Premiere

NCIS: Los Angeles – 8:30 to 10:30pm eastern/8 to 10pm western on CBS/Global – 8th Season Premiere

If you missed this clever and topical sitcom, now’s your chance to catch up, as Global finally runs the second season. (It has been renewed for a third, probably next summer.)

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – 11:35 on CBS/Global

Since Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are debating (from 9 to 11pm on the U.S. networks), Colbert will be live!

Tuesday
