Conviction – 10pm on ABC/CTV – Series Premiere

Hayes Morrison stars as a lawyer and first daughter who is faced with the decision to take a job with her nemesis in order to avoid her mother’s political ambitions. Lots of drama. Lots of intrigue.

Scorpion – 9 to 11pm – 3rd Season Premiere (Two episodes)

Timeless – 10pm on NBC/Global – Series Premiere

This drama travels through time to avoid chaos in the present while trying to leave the past intact, but staying one step ahead of those with less scrupulous ideals.

Henry Danger – 6:30pm on YTV – 3rd Season Premiere

The Flash – 8pm on The CW/CTV – 3rd Season Premiere

Evie meets a charming, free-spirited man named Xavier, who tells her that the apocalypse is approaching and encourages her to live life to the fullest in this romantic comedy.

Kim’s Convenience – 9pm on CBC – Series Premiere

A sitcom featuring a Korean-Canadian family running a convenience store in Toronto.

NOTE/UPDATE: CBC has moved the premiere of this show to next Tuesday the 11th, and two episodes will air back-to-back from 9 to 10pm.

Peyton List stars as Detective Raimy Sullivan, who has carried around pain and resentment over her father’s death for 20 years, believing NYPD Officer Frank Sullivan was corrupted during an undercover sting and got himself killed. Everything changes when she hears his voice coming from his old ham radio, somehow transmitting from 1996. Raimy tells Frank about his murder, allowing him to survive the event, but the change has tragic consequences on the present, and the two detectives must find a way to rewrite the past without destroying everyone they care about.

Highlights of the event in Las Vegas; Ryan Seacrest hosts; scheduled performers include U2, Usher, Sting, Billy Idol, Britney Spears, Drake, Pitbull and Florida Georgia Line. So, essentially, your parents might enjoy this.
