MTV breaks out the golden popcorn for one of the most star-filled and entertaining award shows of the year, THE 2013 MTV MOVIE AWARDS. Hosted by rising superstar Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids), THE 2013 MTV MOVIE AWARDS air live from the Sony Pictures Studios Lot in Culver City, California, this Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET, exclusively on MTV in Canada. Kicking off the show with a roof-raising performance is the cast of Pitch Perfect, who are reuniting for the first time on television. Also set to perform is mega-starSelena Gomez and hip-hop duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Leading the pack with seven nominations each are Django Unchained and Ted, each with nods for Best On-Screen Duo, Best Kiss, and Movie of the Year. The awards are handed out by today’s hottest actors including Steve Carell, Zac Efron,Danny McBride, Melissa McCarthy, Brad Pitt, Chris Pine, Seth Rogen, Amanda Seyfried , Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, and Kerry Washington.

Additionally, Wilson and the presenters are joined by MTV’s inaugural “Comedic Genius Award” recipient Will Ferrell, who is nominated for Best On-Screen Duo with Zach Galifianakis for The Campaign, and “Trailblazer Award” recipient Emma Watson who is nominated in three categories including Best Female Performance, Best Kiss, and Best Musical Moment for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
