ETALK’s Team Delivers Gold Medal Coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games

ETALK’s talent is covering the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games unlike any entertainment team in the world. In addition to interviewing A-list stars of screen and sport for daily ETALK segments, ETALK’s stellar team delivers celebrity coverage through a multitude of unique formats. From hosting the celebratory Victory Ceremony in Vancouver and delivering daily entertainment updates on OLYMPIC MORNING, to exclusive reporting for The Globe and Mail, ETALK’s on-air personalities are tapped into Hollywood’s hottest headlines at the Games. Hitting all the star-packed parties and pimped-out private booths, hosts Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim, along with Leah Miller, Lainey, and Susie Wall report on the most exclusive hot spots and events at Vancouver 2010.

ETALK’s team takes viewers to the heart of the 2010 Winter Games with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Beginning February 12, ETALK delivers daily segments from Vancouver for Canada’s Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium. The segments feature must-see interviews with some of the hottest celebrities north and south of the border, recaps from the night’s wildest bashes, and the juiciest gossip news breaking in Vancouver and Whistler. ETALK keeps Hollywood gossip appetites satisfied throughout the day and night with the latest up-to-the-minute celebrity news through tweets on twitter.com/eTalkCTV.

No stranger to hosting duties, ETALK’s Ben Mulroney joins CTV B.C’s Tamara Taggart to host the nightly Victory Ceremony concerts from BC Place in Vancouver beginning February 14. Highlights from the ceremonies are available live to millions of viewers across the country on the Consortium’s television properties. The ceremonies are also available live and on demand in their entirety at CTVOlympics.ca and RDSolympiques.ca. Meanwhile, Host Tanya Kim will participate in the City of Surrey’s Surrey 2010 Celebrations at Holland Park on February 17.

Vancouverite Lainey, Canada’s It Girl for the biggest Hollywood scoops, brings gossip to the masses every day on OLYMPIC MORNING, the official morning show of the Consortium. Every day, Lainey reports on all the goings-on and gossip from the previous night. In addition to OLYMPIC MORNING, she serves it up daily for ETALK’s special Olympic Games segments. Canadians can also get the latest dirt courtesy of Lainey through exclusive gossip bites, written for The Globe and Mail, for the entire run of the Games. Lainey also gives some gossip love to Metro Papers twice a week for the month of February, through Three Talk, in which she spotlights one A-lister. Finally, Lainey treats smut-lovers to even more first-rate gossip through her popular blog laineygossip.com and on Twitter at twitter.com/LaineyGossip.

Hometown girl and style guru Susie Wall is reporting on what is hot at the Olympic Games on OLYMPIC MORNING. Whether it’s the most-coveted clothing item, hippest restaurant or most celebrity-packed party spot, Wall has it covered.

ETALK Correspondent Leah Miller reports live from the red carpet of the VANCOUVER 2010 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES OPENING CEREMONY, chatting with all of the VIPs and celebrities attending the ceremony. Miller also returns to her old MuchMusic stomping grounds while in Vancouver. For the duration of the Games, she reports for MuchMusic’s VANCOUVER 2010 CONCERT SERIES presented by Bell from the Vancouver Victory Ceremony concerts.

Contributing to ETALK for the Olympic Games are MTV’s Aliya-Jasmine Sovani and MuchMusic’s Sarah Taylor, who bring the top entertainment news straight from Whistler.
