the home-lifestyle W Network series – LOVE IT OR LIST IT – is a major hit for Big Coat Productions

It’s already a word-of-mouth sensation in a real estate-obsessed marketplace and society. Now Big Coat Productions is thrilled to announce two Gemini nominations for its hit W Network series Love It or List It in the following categories:

Best Reality Program or Series
Executive producers Maria Armstrong and Catherine Fogarty

Best Direction in a Reality Program or Series
Director Matt Hoos, Love It or List It, the Smout Family

“We are so excited and proud about these nominations,” says Big Coat Productions Executive and Producer Maria Armstrong, “and we are grateful to the audience and entertainment community for the show’s success.”

Love It or List It is a primetime reality series about homeowners whose love affair with their home has lost its sizzle. Maybe their needs have outgrown the home they once loved, or time has robbed it of its once-attractive lustre. The dilemma: love it or list it.

Each episode is filled with the stress of major renovations, the temptation of beautiful new real estate and a fierce rivalry between the show’s designer Hilary Farr and David Visentin the program’s real estate agent. Both of them are willing to go to any length for the homeowners’ allegiance. In the end, each homeowner must decide – do they Love It enough to stay or is it time to move and List It.

“Love It or List It combines three great elements,” adds Big Coat Executive and Producer Catherine Fogarty, “breathtaking designs, real estate porn, and two larger than life personalities – Hilary and David, who never fail to amuse us with their natural banter. We struck gold when we put them together!”
