New Season of APP CENTRAL Airs Wednesdays, Beginning April 24 on BNN

APP CENTRAL returns for a packed and cutting-edge Season 4, with 26 brand-new half-hour episodes. From Bell Media In-House Productions, Canada’s weekly digital lifestyle program premieres on BNN onWednesday, April 24 at 8:30 p.m. ET and on CTV on Saturday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m. ET. Social media star Amber MacArthur, with 1.5-million Google + subscribers and almost 90,000 Twitter followers, is joined by gaming guru, Michael Hainsworth, as the two tech-savvy co-hosts review the latest and most innovative apps from around the world.

In addition to fan-favourite segments, including ”Celeb e-Watch”, ”Apps of the World”, and ”Hot Topics”, new segment ”Game On”, led by Hainsworth, showcases the very best in new gaming apps. Producer Michael Bancroft continues to scourer the globe for the most outrageous apps on the market in “App-diculous”. And for “Celeb e-Watch”, Penn & Teller’s Penn Jillette and ORPHAN BLACK star Tatiana Maslany stop by the studio this season. APP CENTRAL contributors Maurice CachoDoug Stephens, and Mike Cameronalso return for another season. Cacho delivers in-depth demos of the must have gadgets and app trends; Stephens reports on consumer tech; and Cameron continues to be the show’s “man in the field.”

The program airs domestically on five Bell Media platforms. In addition to airing Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET and Thursdays 9 p.m. ET on BNN, APP CENTRALalso airs Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. ET on CTV NEWS CHANNEL, Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. ET on CTV, Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. ET on CTV TWO, and Sundays at 10:30 a.m. ET on CP24.
