Canada’s #1 comedy HOT IN CLEVELAND cranks up the heat with a new Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET timeslot beginning August 24 on CTV (visit ctv.ca to confirm local broadcast times). The White, hot series kicks of a sizzling Tuesday night line-up followed by SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA at 8:30 p.m. ET and SHAQ VS at 9 p.m. ET.
Since its debut to record audiences in TV Land in the U.S. in June, HOT IN CLEVELAND continues to be a hit this side of the border as well. The series ranks among the top five on the list of television’s most-watched summer programs (1.65 million viewers) and delivered a series high 1.83 million viewers for its most recent episode.
In next week’s episode entitled “It’s Not That Complicated” (Tuesday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET), when Melanie’s (Valerie Bertinelli) ex-husband comes to woo her, Joy (Jane Leeves) and Victoria (Wendie Malick) can’t help it and get too involved. Meanwhile, Elka (Betty White) must decide between two senior suitors. Carl Reiner (THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW) returns as a guest star, along with Tim Conway (THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW).
Other guest stars set to grace the show’s soundstage this season include Mark Indelicato (UGLY BETTY) on August 31, Joe Jonas (The Jonas Brothers) on September 7, and the incomparable Susan Lucci (ALL MY CHILDREN) in the season finale on September 14.
