HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada) and Astral’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) welcomes back Curb Your Enthusiasm, the unsparing and self-deprecating comedy based on the life of Seinfeld co-creator Larry David. Executive produced by and starring David, the Emmy®- and Golden Globe-winning series premieres its ten-episode, eighth season Sunday, July 10 at 10 p.m. ET/MT, day-and-date with HBO in the U.S.

In the unscripted and improvised half-hour comedy series’ new season, David faces the possibility of divorce from estranged wife Cheryl (Cheryl Hines) while continuing to deal with the banal self-inflicted problems of his everyday life. The new season also returns David to his roots, leaving Los Angeles, and travelling back to the Big Apple for a number of episodes. Along for the ride are series regulars Jeff Garlin as David’s manager Jeff and Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife Susie, and guest stars and series veterans Bob Einstein, Richard Lewis, Rosie O’Donnell, J.B. Smoove and Wanda Sykes who play themselves or character roles.
New episodes will also feature guest stars such as Michael J. Fox, Ricky Gervais, Jonathan Ames, Bill Buckner, Rebecca Creskoff, Gary Cole, Ana Gasteyer, Michael Gross, Harry Hamlin, Larry Miller, Robert Smigel, Aida Turturro, Mookie Wilson and Jo Anne Worley.
All episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm will be broadcast in High Definition, and will be available on demand following their network premieres. In Eastern Canada the series will be available via HBO Canada OnLine with Rogers On Demand OnLine, Bell TV Online and Videotron’s Illico Web and in Western Canada via HBO Canada Online with Shaw and Shaw Direct Video On Demand and Bell TV Online.
